What were the most popular books in the United States in 2016? According to USA Today, many of them came from Scholastic. With the publication of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay, JK Rowling was the top selling writer in the country. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was at the top of the best-sellers list for six weeks, more than any other author.
But Scholastic goes beyond the top spot, and a look at the Top 100 reveals many more of our titles. They are:
#1: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two
#13: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay
#22: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
#56: Giraffes Can’t Dance
#67: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: The Illustrated Edition
#91: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

We congratulate all of our authors and invite you to continue Reading the best titles that only Scholastic brings.
